Task 37 did meet in Italy in May 2022

In May 2022 a Task meeting in Italy was hosted by the Consorzio Italiano Biogas CIB. During a site visit of  Pieve Ecoenergia S.c.a. Task 37 members could discuss with CIB experts and the plant operator the specifications of the Biogas Done Right concept and the further development named “Farming for Future”. The integration of biogas operation in a modern agriculture were to be seen. Besides the utilization of agricultural residues in the biomethane application, this includes strip till technique, double cropping, precision farming, digestate injector for emission reduction and animal husbandry combining high automatization, animal welfare and manure management aiming for emission reduction and high gas yields. During the meeting the work program of the current triennium was discussed.

It was also decided that the Task meeting in Autumn will be held in coordination with the Nordic Biogas conference, 3th to 6th of October 2022, Linköping Sweden.
